The following information was taken from two industrial sources and is untested by DuraBelt. Therefore, we cannot assume any liability for its reliability. We noticed that the two sources sometimes contradict each other, so we highly recommend that you test the resistance of your belt to the chemical substance before making a substantial purchase. Use this chart only as an initial guideline and confirm is applicability with your own tests. A good test is to put a piece of the belting in a bottle containing the chemical substance and let it sit for a few weeks. Then remove the belting and run it in your test application. Also note that temperature often greatly affects chemical resistance. For example, Cyclothane-A performs good in cold water but poor in hot water. Therefore, make sure you take operating temperature into account.
